Medical Centre 291 is a fee for service medical centre. This means that for each visit, consultation fees are due on the day of your visit and are payable by cash, cheque or EFTPOS. Increased after hours consultation fees apply after 1pm on Saturdays.
Please be aware that we will always endeavor to inform patients of any upcoming changes to our fees. If you would like more information on our fee schedule, please feel free to ask our reception staff at any time.
Special arrangements will be considered in cases of financial hardship. Please be aware that requests for such arrangements will need to discussed with reception staff or your doctor prior to your visit.
If you have a debit card with you on the day of your visit, we are able to refund your medicare rebate in to your bank account at the time of your visit.
Shared Maternity Care appointments are only available upon request, and the fee for these appointments differ from our standard fees. Please phone us, and ask to speak to the Practice Nurse, Robyn, for more information.
Our allied health services have a separate fee and rebate schedule to the medical centre. For more information, please speak to our reception staff or your practitioner.
As of the 1st of July 2020 are fees will be increasing slightly, to reflect the changes to Medicare billing
- a standard consultation will cost $79, with a Medicare rebate of $38.75, leaving an out of pocket cost of $40.25
- a long consultation will cost $115, with a Medicare rebate of $75.05, leaving an out of pocket cost of $39.95
- a shared care appointment will cost $153, with a Medicare rebate of $110.50, leaving an out of pocket cost of $42.50
- an after hours consultation will cost $89, with Medicare rebate of $50.55, leaving an pout of pocket cost of $38.45
