Dr Victoria (Vicky) Gershenzon — Independent GP at Medical Centre 291

Dr Victoria (Vicky) Gershenzon

Dr Gershenzon graduated MBBS in 2010 from the University of Melbourne and worked full time on the Mornington Peninsula during her residency. She has extensive experience in all aspects of general practice, including women's and children's health and mental health.

As a mum to a young child, Dr. Gershenzon is passionate about helping families through the tough days of early parenthood, with a rational, caring approach to infant feeding and sleeping.

She also takes a special interest in the compassionate care of the elderly and actively visits local Aged Care facilities. Dr Gershenzon is fluent in both English and Russian.

Dr Himankur Arya — Independent GP at Medical Centre 291

Dr Himankur Arya

Dr Arya is originally of Indian descent and moved to Australia in 2017. Since then, Dr Arya has worked in the local community before joining Medical Centre 291.

Dr Arya specialises in chronic disease management, skin checks, minor procedures and excisions and paediatric health.

Dr Arya is a caring and compassionate GP who enjoys his role as a GP and caring for families throughout their life cycles. Dr Arya speaks fluent Hindi.

Dr Ritam Jain — Independent GP at Medical Centre 291

Dr Ritam Jain

After graduating as a doctor in 2005, Dr. Ritam Jain relocated to Australia in 2008 to advance his education and career. He successfully completed a Master of Health Management and a Master of Public Health at the University of New South Wales, Sydney.

With nearly 20 years of experience as a General Practitioner, Dr. Jain is dedicated to delivering compassionate and comprehensive care. His special interests include paediatrics, musculoskeletal medicine, and women's health. He also holds a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine, emphasising his skills in the detection and management of skin cancers. Dr Jain speaks fluent Hindi and Punjabi.

Dr Shahneela Iqbal — Independent GP at Medical Centre 291

Dr Shahneela Iqbal

Hello, my name is Shahneela. I recently landed in the GP land after completing my MBBS, following an internship as a Medical Officer in Pakistan where I gained extensive experience in General medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, ICU and Emergency care.

After completing my AMC and moving to Australia, I worked at the Austin and Northern Hospitals where for the last 3 years I had vast exposure in clinical rotations including Paeds ED, Psychiatry/Mental health, General medicine/surgery, Orthopaedics, Rehab and Hospital in the home.

My special interests lie in Women's/children's health and chronic disease management.

Outside of work, I'm a mother of an 8-year-old boy. Most of my spare time is spent on his extra-curricular activities, reading, swimming and household tasks like cooking, laundry etc.

Anisa Kataria — Practice Nurse at Medical Centre 291

Anisa Kataria

Anisa is a Registered Div 1 nurse who moved to Australia from India in 2018 and completed a Bachelor's in Nursing from La Trobe University in 2020. With over four years of experience across hospital, aged care and general practice settings, she has been part of the clinic team for nearly two years.

She has a particular interest in mental health and is passionate about advocating for patients and providing supportive care. Anisa also has experience in chronic disease management and enjoys helping patients manage their long-term health.

Anisa can also speak fluent Punjabi and Hindi. In her spare time, Anisa is studying for her Graduate Diploma in Psychology. She also enjoys cooking and shopping.

Roxanne Cameron-Smith — Practice Manager at Medical Centre 291

Roxanne Cameron-Smith

Roxanne has been our Practice Manager for more than 7 years and brings with her a wealth of knowledge in that area. She also previously worked as a Div 2 nurse and a phlebotomist.

Roxanne is the mother to three adult children and in her spare time helps with the Multiple Birth Volunteer Foundation and with Epiphany Anglican Church. She loves to read, knit and watch the football also.

She has lived and worked in the Wyndham area for more than 35 years and has strong ties with the local community.

Hours of Operation

Mon to Fri - 8am to 8pm

Saturday - 9am to 4:30pm

Sunday and Public Holidays - closed
